Sometimes the casualties of pulling weeds in the garden reveals some new potato rewards for lunch. Not quite big enough to start digging, but soon.

Also two of 13 tomato rows clipped to the trellis and some suckers pruned. Some flower buds on the cucumbers. Basil is looking great. 3rd round of the green onion transplants went in this morning.

Smashed potato pesto salad for lunch.

Xander caught one of the wraskly wrabbits likely responsible for pruning my pepper plants this morning. He was so proud, and he brought him right to me. Good boy, earning a special dinner tonight.

Weed'em & Reap will be at the Lamberton Farmers Market tomorrow 6.11.26 from 330-530p.

Today we watered, weeded, planted, trellised, canned, packaged and labeled:

New
Horseradish
Rhubarb Sauce
Berry Sauce - blue berry, strawberry, black berry - delicious over ice cream, yogurt, or waffles.

I'll bring some leaf lettuce
Spring onions
Rhubarb
Asparagus - nearing the end of the season,
Herbs
I'm hopful to find some larger radishes and whatever else the garden has ready, also the
remaining 2025 canned goods.

Twilight walk though the garden reviled ~ 98% of the tomato transplants survived the Sunday 6.7.26 transplanting. 125/128 isn't too bad. Wind and heat are always hard on newly planted tomatoes. We put them in in the AM, and gave them a good amount of water. It is just me and Xander so each bed 18-30 plants takes some time [ >1hr] to prepare and plant.

Previous planting of tomatoes is showing around 95% success. So many blooms and fruit setting. Weeds, and the obvious need to set the trellises ASAP.

I have some excess yellow pear and some early girl hybrid tomato plants available if any one has a spot. $5 large 2-3' plants. Send a message or call to pick up.

Boots caked with mud and off at the door, from the much needed rain last night.

Cherry tomatoes are setting fruit, bees are busy polinating. Bombus ternarius spotted and are a new sight to the garden this year.

Kohlrabi are beginning to bulb, potatoes are blooming and first round of radishes are small spicy and delicious. Spring onions are approaching 1/2-3/4", peas are shooting off tendrils, and pole beans are beginning to do the same. Weeds are prolific, especially after the rain.

Don't mind the weeds, but I found these little guys while watering. 6.7.26 Likely an 'Amish Paste' tomato. I didn't check the tag on the row. A few plants have begun to set fruit, and 128 more plants went in this morning.

Weeding, watering, trellises, more planting tomorrow. I'm lucky to have a good helper to keep me motivated and moving on...

Weeding, watering, trellises, more planting tomorrow. I'm lucky to have a good helper to keep me motivated and moving on these warm days. He played in the sprinkler and got the hose to cool off this afternoon.

10p I'll turn off the water and call it a day, that is enough steps for one day.

Busy day in the garden today. It started off a bit frosty this morning but turned out to be a beautiful day to be in the garden. Hopefully that was the last of cold overnights for awhile. Xander and I started planting the more tender crops today 5.19.26 peppers, egg plant, and tomatoes. Watering, weeding and more watering. 930pm and we are calling it quits for the day.

No garden pictures today, just me and my silly boy taking a little break in the sun - great helper.
