Today was busy!

How it started: (nothing like dispersing 4 kids out so mom can drive truck!)
Falon “mom do you even know how to drive this truck?” Me “no I should probably get a refresher from Troy before we start.” Marty “here I’ll show you.”

Thank you to the silage crew that just keeps going as long as the wheels keep rolling, no matter how hot it is!

How it ended: traveled back to Huron to watch Hollis Fawcett be named the 2026 U-Fit-It Champion of the SDSF! A huge success. Congratulations to all exhibitors! More to come from the SDSF!

Ranch happenings: silage cutting prep, cleaning yards, fencing, sale heifer prep, hauling bales, pre conditioning cattle, preg checking, state fair prep and the list goes on. I’m sure I’m missing about fifteen things, but that’s life on the ranch. A lifestyle some would never understand.
