🚜❤️ **HAPPY NATIONAL FARMERS DAY!** ❤️🚜

Today, we’re thankful for the generations who came before us. The ones who worked the land, milked the cows, weathered the storms, made sacrifices, and built something bigger than themselves.

We’re proud to be 5th-generation Wisconsin dairy farmers, carrying on a legacy that started long before us. Every day, we’re reminded that this farm isn’t just ours — it’s been entrusted to us for a little while.

🙏 **Today, we thank God for the generations who paved the way, and we pray for the generations still to come.**

We pray our girls will always have the opportunity to choose this life if their hearts lead them here. We pray for the young farmers just getting started, the families fighting to keep their farms, and the future of American agriculture.

Farming has never been just a job. It’s a calling, a heritage, a community, and a promise to keep going even when the road gets hard.

**May we never forget where we came from, may we have the strength to keep going, and may there always be another generation willing to carry the torch.** 🐄🌾

Okay, consumers. Let’s try a little experiment. 😂

These are the SAME gallon of milk.

Same words.
Same product.
Same Grade A milk.

Only the picture changed.

One shows cows being milked on a large rotary.

The other shows cows grazing on green grass with a barn in the background.

Now be honest:

Which gallon are you instinctively reaching for?

There is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with a rotary parlor. It is an efficient way to milk a lot of cows.

But there’s a reason dairy marketing so often shows you the OTHER picture.

Green grass.
Cows grazing.
Red barns.
Rolling countryside.

Those images communicate something to consumers: tradition, farming, wholesomeness, connection to the land.

And here is the question I want people to think about:

If the image of the small, traditional dairy farm helps sell the product, what happens when we allow those farms to disappear?

Because you cannot build an entire marketing identity around the image of a way of farming while simultaneously treating the farms that still look like that as economically expendable.

Look at the two jugs again.

Which one would you buy?

And more importantly…

WHY?

THIS IS WHY WE’RE SELLING DIRECT. ❤️

Jake and I are a small family dairy farm. We milk just 80 cows, work hard, and wear more hats than we ever imagined.

And honestly? I’m not a salesperson. 😂

We’ve started selling dairy products and expanding our freezer meat sales because we don’t want the decision to sell this farm someday to be because we “have to.”

We want our girls to grow up knowing this farm is an option.

If they choose farming, we want them to have the chance to choose it. ❤️🐄

That’s what this is really about.

So when you buy a package of farm-raised pork, a block of Wisconsin cheese, or anything else directly from our farm…

You’re not just buying food.

You’re helping a small family farm keep going. You’re helping create an opportunity for the next generation.

And that means more to us than you know.
