Feels like a heatwave has hit Wisconsin after the last week!!

The 2026 calving season is underway, and we are pleased to announce the arrival of our first Full Send Apex heifer calf, affectionately named 'Stormy.' Born last Friday amidst frigid conditions, the calf required immediate attention due to the cold. Fortunately, we are equipped with a heated room, which enabled us to make sure she had her first feeding. However, maintaining her body temperature proved challenging, necessitating her temporary relocation to the house and made trips back and forth to the barn with her for nursing on mom. Last night we returned her to her mom and we monitored her closely, making regular visits to the barn throughout the night to ensure her comfort and well-being. We have high hopes for this heifer ♥️
