Today we processed 45 meat birds. Carson took care of killing and scalding the birds. Kaleb, Kenley and Kevin all plucked, gutted and cleaned the birds and I vacuumed sealed. Yummy farm raised chicken in the freezer. Kevin has decided he likes doing this in the winter better. The smell wasn’t as bad and we had absolutely no flies to contend with.
