And…we have a baby bull - “Randy”. He’s an Angus-Jersey cross. Despite high sale prices, we will likely raise him as a steer. We will let Daisy raise him for the next few months 😍

Jerseys are more susceptible to “milk fever” so we already gave Daisy one bolus (large pill) as a calcium supplement. Randy is already sucking - ensuring he gets the much needed colostrum. We have never had to “force” colostrum on any of our calves—Mother Nature and good instincts my mom and calf have treated us well. 🙏🏻❤️
