With the move and the fact that we had absolutely no livestock, we took the winter off. With spring around the corner, fun things will be coming to the farm!

My wife wants some baby goats...
New Bee Hive locations!
New Pig Pen!

And...

Hint... they go moooooooooo...

This one will be the biggest undertaking yet!

The moose has been placed on the new farm! Moving has been a chore, but I finally feel like we are making progress. The list is still long to get everything operational again.

Have to pick out a new location for the Pig pen and we need to bring over some expert advise on cattle before making that jump.

Slowly but surely missing moose farm part 2 is being built!

Putting the tractor to work! Repurposing gravel from the old driveway and making this run in shed into an open storage shed for now. Good learning experience as i only have about 3 hours with the bucket.

While not trying to be a fully "organic" homestead i try and keep it local whenever possible. Just started the bacon seeds on some house grind from J&N Feed Supply in Bainbridge. The chickens have been loving theirs as well.

To me the proof is in the pudding. We have been feeding layers pellets for years. Never have had an animal touch the feed bags. Switched over to this and everybody and their brother wants to eat it.
