Phase one of the chicken coop remodeling is complete. Added new nesting boxes. I can collect eggs without having to go inside the coop now. My new door is fantastic (thank you Edward) a wonderful surprise. Phase two is still in planning stage. I'm nuts for fluffy butts.

Getting my Dehydration on. Green and red seedless grapes. Bring on the raisins, in about 12 hours. Gotta have all the kitchen gadgets on The Farm.

I apologize for no updates lately. I started a new job 3 weeks back and it's been busy. The chickens were 7 weeks old this past Monday. It's looking like they will have to go 12 weeks before processing. I finished the big screen house for them and put it along the backside of the smokehouse, cut a bigger hole in the back wall so they have access to the outside now. My husband made me 2 bigger feeders for them and I have the other 2 on the outside now.

One of our completed projects from this past week. We removed the feed trough for the cows and installed 1/2 a hay ring in its place. Concrete the bottom. Much easier to feed and put out hay now.
