From the earth to the jar! 🌱🫙

This is a labor of love—long days, slow steps, and a whole lot of care as we take fresh herbs and turn them into something that lasts.

Freeze drying is a gentle process that preserves up to 97% of the nutrients and keeps herbs shelf-stable for up to 25 years, so what we put away today can still be enjoyed for years to come. ☺️

It’s a long process, but it feeds our souls so we can feed your bellies.

Our jars of herbs are available in the Farm Store Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm and at the Kershaw County Farmers Market every Saturday!

Wondering how to cook fresh beets? It’s easier than you think! Simply roast them at 400°F for about 45–60 minutes and the skins will slip right off with almost no effort. Then slice them up and top with creamy goat cheese, fresh thyme, and a drizzle of honey for a side salad that feels gourmet but comes straight from the garden.

Not only are beets delicious, they’re packed with nutrients. They’re rich in fiber, folate, potassium, and antioxidants that support heart health, healthy blood pressure, and circulation. Their natural nitrates can even help improve endurance and energy levels.

Sweet, earthy, colorful, and incredibly good for you—beets are proof that healthy food doesn’t have to be boring!

The beets are all going to be harvested today before it gets too hot, so if you want them fresh by the bushel, drop by the farm and grab them before they get pickled or freeze dried!

Fresh eggs - $5 a dozen! 🥚🐓

There’s a real difference between eggs straight from the farm and what you find on a grocery shelf.

Our eggs are gathered fresh, which means they haven’t been sitting in storage or traveling long distances before they get to you. That freshness shows up in the flavor, the color of the yolk, and even the way they cook.

Store-bought eggs can be weeks old by the time they make it home, while ours are coming straight from the hens to you!
