We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we're excited to finally share two major updates to the Bardwell Farms website!

Our Cattle For Sale Page has been
completely revamped!

You can now visit our website and see the cattle we currently have available for sale. Each animal or pair has its own dedicated page with photos, pedigrees, documentation, and other important information-all in one place!

This page will be continuously updated as new animals become available, so be sure to check back periodically to see who has been added to the list!

DNA Verification of Our Herd

We've also taken the initiative to begin DNA verifying our herd, something we believe can provide tremendous benefits not only for our own breeding program, but for the American Milking Devon breed as a whole.

Excited to see that two of our calves will be getting trained as Oxen at Ox Height Farm. They already look to be enjoying their new home! Looking forward to seeing updates on their progress.

One of our favorite farm tasks is moving our cattle to pastures with fresh grown grass. This year we have improved our rotational grazing practices and the results are superb! More grass, better quality pastures, and happy cows!

After many months away from the girls, Earl is officially back with the herd to kick off breeding season.
We turn our bull out later than most on purpose. Our winters can be brutal, and we’d much rather have calves arriving in April than being born during snowstorms or in freezing temperatures. Waiting a little longer gives both the cows and calves a much better start. Earl will stay with the ladies for ~90 days to get the job done. Welcoming the next group of Bardwell Farms calves from April through July 2027!

One of the more fun investments on the farm were these sq**rt guns to apply bug repellent! We got the idea from another pages Facebook reel. Few retro gamers understand the music choice.
