Last weekend we took a field trip to the Western Pennsylvania Reining Association Hometown Heritage Reining Series.

No we haven’t converted to reining horses (though we have tremendous respect for the discipline), but it provided a safe and low stress environment to get our young horses off the farm.

For the yearlings, it was there first time loading in the trailer, first time off the farm, and first horse show.

They explored the grounds, took lots of naps, and never missed a meal.

They handled all of the new experiences beautifully and are well on their way to being solid citizens!

Thoughtfully raised, he clips (including ears), stands for the farrier, ties, and bathes. He has started on ground poles and basic trail obstacles. Enjoy him in halter and in hand trail before his under saddle career begins.

2025 Half Arabian gelding

Large, handsome, correct yearling gelding. He is a powerful mover with a bright future in the ranch or sport horse arenas.

He has been thoughtfully raised, handled daily since birth. He leads, ties, has been started over ground poles and basic trail obstacles, and is schooling for sport horse in hand.

Megga Starr++/// is a nine time national champion in western division, and has sired national and regional winners in the Sport Horse and Working Western divisions (in addition to main ring divisions), with a limited number of foals on the ground.

His dam is a very correct Thoroughbred who had over 40 starts while retiring sound and clean legged

Coincidence? We think not.

We’re pretty convinced she did that so as not to be upstaged by him.

Whatever the reason behind it, we’re thrilled to have produced both these beauties from our program.
