Cielito Lindo in Lemmon Valley makes one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had in this city — huge, stuffed, chorizo recommended by the front counter, and a green salsa that’s not playing around. 🌯🔥 But there’s more to this stop than the food. Eddie Gomez, running for Ward 4, has been organizing local restaurants to donate 10% or more of their daily sales to help families affected by the Hawk Fire — 10 restaurants and counting. I sold a few of my fire coverage clips to the Associated Press, and instead of keeping that money, I’m donating $500 straight to this cause.
Go get the burrito. Then go support the effort. 🙏
