Good Morning, Reno!
Due to the Hawk Fire, and many road closures this morning, over night, and all weekend—- High Mark Distillery will be CLOSED TODAY. 🔥🔥🔥

We have sent our Team Members home this morning, and asked the later shift of our production team to stay safely at home, rather than get caught stranded to or from work.
Our TASTING ROOM is CLOSED for Safety Today.

Mady’s Sip and Paint Class did it! They all graduated as GREAT AMERICANS last night!
❤️🦅🇺🇸

Everyone sipped historical George and Martha Washington Cocktails (Felicia recreated these from an historical recipe displayed at Mount Vernon, at George Washington’s home) — The Cocktails tasted like summertime icey mulled ciders. (Felicia added a little extra oomf of Rum to the old recipe, because why not!)

Everyone painted the American Flag 🇺🇸 , and the daring ones painted a Bald Eagle flying over their pine trees.

They ate huge pieces of Caramel Apple Pie or Dutch Apple Pie!
They laughed. They asked for an extra shot of Dark Spiced Rum— we thought Martha Washington would approve, so all painters got a little Skosh more….then they REALLY laughed a lot in class!

The paintings all turned out unique and beautiful!
And we High Mark Distillery ladies (Mady, Julie, and Felicia) smiled from ear to ear all night when our guests came as strangers, and left our distillery as wonderful new friends…. Just the way GREAT AMERICANS should!!!
