Happy ! 🐄

Today, we’re bringing it all the way back to the source… the cows.✨

Day in and day out, everything we do on the farm revolves around caring for our herd. Their health, comfort, and well-being are at the center of every decision we make, and today we’re celebrating the cows that make it all possible.

As the saying always goes… “Knee high by the 4th of July”🌽🇺🇸

The girls are here to report that the corn is well past knee high and on track for a quality crop!

Happy Independence Day from the Kelly Dairy Team! 🎆

Celebrating National Dairy Month where all of our milk begins its journey... in the milking parlor! 🥛🐄

There are a lot of moving parts that go into producing high-quality milk, from caring for our cows to maintaining our equipment and facilities. We’re proud to do what we do every day and help nourish the communities around us.

From seed to stalk 🌽

Before the corn goes in the ground, we cultivate the field to create the ideal seedbed and help manage early weeds. Once weather conditions are right, it’s time to plant!

Despite working around wet field conditions, we have over half of our corn crop planted. This year, we’ll grow 2,000 acres of corn to help feed our herd year-round.

Now we wait for a little sunshine, some rain, and those first green sprouts to appear.

This past Monday, we hosted Heuvelton Central Schools pre-K class for a fun day on the farm!🐄

The students enjoyed a wagon ride through the farm, made a stop to visit our calves in the calf barn, and wrapped up the tour with some chocolate milk.

A huge thank you to Wayne Fobare for donating the wagon and to JP Building Supply for donating the tractor! We love sharing agriculture with the next generation and giving students a chance to see where their food comes from.🥛🚜🌾

The flowers have bloomed and the grass is green. Spring is finally here! 🌸

The cows see all season on their walk to the milking parlor. Have you seen our cows walking to the parlor when driving by?👀🐄
