The wait is finally over! Grab the kids and head on over to Applewood Orchards—we are officially open for our 2026 summer season!

Come explore our brand-new playground activities (the kids are going to love what we’ve added this year!), explore old favorites like the jumping pillow, and reward yourself with the best part of opening day: fresh, melt-in-your-mouth donuts. 🍩

We can't wait to see familiar faces and welcome new friends to the orchard. Let’s make some memories!

Join us for the 2026 St. Lawrence County Tourism Dinner as we honor the businesses that make the North Country a premier destination!

This year, we are thrilled to host the celebration at the Ogdensburg International Airport’s brand-new Great Room on Thursday, June 11.

✨ 2026 Tourism Excellence Award Honorees:

🍎 Applewood Orchards (Rensselaer Falls) – Receiving the "Best to the Guest" Award for their outstanding hospitality and for creating a beloved agritourism destination for families across the region.

🌲Basswood Lodge (Rensselaer Falls) – Receiving the "Best Destination Marketing Initiative" Award for their expert storytelling and for putting our world-class outdoor recreation on the map.

We are so excited! In only four short weeks, we will be open for the season! May 29th will be our first day open! Lots of new items will be offered in the store this year, as well as everyone’s favorites from years past! Stay tuned as we are adding NEW attractions to the playground as well!
