Happy Fall Y’all! I have had people say they miss our baked goods (and produce of course). Well, produce is done for the winter but Steph and I have some ideas about getting you some baked goods.
First, Gary and I will have booths at the indoor garage sale at the fairgrounds on Oct 23 & 24th, so we will do a little baking and bring items there. More details next week on what we are making, think scones, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin items for sure!
Second, I have a booth displaying my fresh pine grave pillows and grave blankets at the fairgrounds at Mistletoe Magic on Nov 14th. We will have a table full of baked items there for you to take home and enjoy.
Third, if you would like homemade pies for your Thanksgiving meals but don’t want or can’t make them yourself, let us do the baking for you. Right now we know for sure we plan to make pumpkin & Dutch apple pies and make pumpkin rolls. We are open to suggestions for other flavor pies too. Let us know if that is something you may be interested in. You don’t have to commit now, we just want to know if there is interest in us baking for you.
Lastly, we are planning to bake fresh cookie trays for the Christmas season. We plan to have a sample tray at mistletoe magic for you to see. Again, let us know if cookie trays are something you may be interested in. We are just trying to see if there is even interest in cookie and or pies for your Holiday celebrations. Of course Christmas parties are pretty much the whole month of Dec so you pick the date you need your baking for.
I will reveal a surprise, after a lot of talking and being asked, we plan to expand our produce and sell Friday at the bowling alley AND Saturday at the farmers market next year.
Let us know in this thread what you think,
Thank you, Suzanne
