POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Expeditor is responsible for the daily transactions of raw materials and finished goods to support the Production and Warehouse Teams. The position is chiefly responsible for detailed process work, including and posting raw material and finished goods from Production and staging raw materials needed for Production both physically and in the company ERP system, Great Plains.

KEY DUTIES:
· Pull and stage raw materials requested by Production
· Generate system transfer for materials staged for Production
· Perform inspection of inbound finished goods and raw materials from Production
· Verification of inbound finished goods and raw material from Production physically and systematically, ensuring there is no product or material damage or shortages
· Transact inbound finished goods and raw material in the ERP system from Production
· Operates equipment such as forklifts to put away inbound finished goods and raw materials in assigned racking positions
· Able to manually offload floor loaded green coffee containers with teammate
· Counts, weighs, and/or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare information to the system inventory
· Perform inspection and verification of items being received from outside vendors
· Generate necessary receiving paperwork
· Completes necessary paperwork such as sanitation logs and equipment inspections logs
· Possess strong knowledge of DLC work/product flow, greens, greens receiving, batching, allocation, scheduling, shipping, and finished products.
· Prioritize safety; understand the requirements for creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
· Work with Inventory Manager to minimize inventory discrepancies.
· Comprehension of DLC QA standards / SQF Policies.

This position is responsible for the daily operation of any one of DLC’s roasters. The key elements necessary for this position are DLC product knowledge, specific roaster training and certification, DLC Quality Assurance training and DLC GMP training. This position is responsible for operating the roaster and maintaining product flow within the scheduled timeline with minimal down time.

The Plant Maintenance Manager Position is responsible to manage engineering and maintenance services to achieve maximum financial results from the plants capital expenditures, maintenance expenditures, production equipment and fixed assets. Works across teams to maximize plant productivity, promote safety and quality.

The Senior Manager-Foodservice will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the DLC product portfolio including our new brand Java Trading. Full advantage points of our products must be leveraged within foodservice channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall general management of the DLC business unit and new customer growth across the portfolio.

KEY DUTIES:
The Senior Manager-Foodservice will lead the creation and activation of all sales plans across the Distant Lands Foodservice coffee portfolio, identifying and executing critical growth and revenue drivers for the business. As the business market champion, the Senior Manager-Foodservice ensures that all customer communication reflects the products core positioning, and supports the achievement of the company’s sales and strategic goals. This individual is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies and tactics that will enhance the company’s sales advantage, increase capabilities with customers, increase trial and develop customer loyalty. This includes development and coordination across all customer touch-points and foodservice channels to ensure sales and profit growth.

- Customer/Channel Expert
Lead and drive the DLC story to the next level with customers. Achieve top to top relationships with new business and current customer opportunities. The net result will be business growth and a solid strategic plan for foodservice.

- General Management

Position Summary
This position actively participates in the inspection and quality testing of roasted coffee and finished products according to DLC or customer requirements and specifications.
Active involvement includes performing and providing oversight of monitoring activities of the QACCP program, collaboration with operational and personnel, performing finished good checks, assisting and verifying quality control measures, and other activities within the quality department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Inspection of green coffee for visual cleanliness, mold, pest infestation, bean size, moisture, defects, and performing sample roasts and cupping as necessary.
• Inspection of roasted coffee for roast profile and Agtron score, grind profile, and screen size/breakage.
• Inspection of finished goods for compliance to DLC and customer specifications, residual Oxygen content, sensory tasting, etc.
• Monitoring production practices regarding food quality and placing nonconforming product on QA Hold.
• Collecting and analyzing quality attributes and data, completing forms, and communication with operations in regards to food quality concerns.

Qualifications
