Duffney's Bird Barn Hi! My name is Misty and I am the owner of Duffney's Bird Barn. This is a venture that I started working towards with my late husband a couple of years ago.

I sell my "poultry" themed jewelry and crocheted items along with other handmade goods. I’ve always loved creating things by hand and sharing them with others. Through Duffney’s Bird Barn, I sell fresh local eggs along with handmade crochet and sewn items made with care and creativity. As a small business owner, I enjoy connecting with customers, growing my Etsy shop, and bringing a personal, handmade touch to everything I do.

Nature really put on a show tonight ⚡️🌩️ There’s something peaceful and powerful about watching lightning light up the sky. Mother Nature always finds a way to steal the spotlight. Also praying these storms pass through without starting any fires 🙏🔥

🌈 Chickens can see more colors than humans, including ultraviolet light.
👑 There’s a real pecking order that helps keep peace in the flock.
🐔 Some chickens are so affectionate they’ll follow their favorite person around like a dog.
💨 Chickens can run up to 9 mph!
🎉 The oldest known chicken lived to be 16 years old.
🎶 They use more than 30 different sounds to communicate things like danger, food, and excitement.
🤎 Chickens can even feel empathy — hens get stressed when they see their chicks upset.
