Bought 5 Bourbon Red Turkey chicks today. First thought: they’ll be ready to eat for Thanksgiving or definitely Christmas. NO SIR! Raising these beauties as the beginning of my flock. I’ve decided to specialize in a small niche market of breeding, raising and selling Bourbon Red Turkeys. Why Bourbon Red? 1.) They’re suppose to be the BEST tasting turkey meat you’ll ever eat. 2.) I bought my baby chicks for $20 each, therefore I’ll be selling “baby chicks” for $20 each. 3.) Mature 6 to 7 months, non-processed Bourbon Red Turkeys sale for $100. add $20 if I have to process for ready to cook. Whatcha Think?
