As we sit here reflecting on this weekend, we honestly can’t help but feel so incredibly thankful. ❤️
It has been a BUSY one for Bivin Family Farm! We’ve had lots of bottle feeding sessions here at the farm, and today we loaded up the crew and headed to Gonzales to visit our friends at their brand-new market, Chatagnier Community Market.
And y’all… ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT paying customers came through our mini petting zoo today in 4 hours.
198!!! 🤯
We are still trying to wrap our heads around that.
Thank you to every single person who stood in line in the HEAT… and then even in the RAIN… just to spend a little time with our animals. Seeing all of the smiling faces, watching the kids & adults love on the animals, and hearing how excited everyone was makes all of the work that goes into this completely worth it.
And an even bigger thank you for showing up and supporting our friends and the awesome new market they have brought to the Gonzales area. We are so excited to watch Chatagnier Community Market grow!
After leaving Gonzales, we headed back home and finished our day with a private bottle feeding session for the sweetest family who drove over from Metairie to visit us. ❤️
From 10:00 this morning until 5:30 this evening, it was pretty much nonstop animal encounters.
We are exhausted.
The animals are exhausted. 😂
But our hearts are FULL.
I truly never imagined that this little idea that popped into my head in 2024 would turn into what Bivin Family Farm has become. What started as an idea has somehow grown into a thriving little family business. One that I now get to work alongside my husband doing. There are long days, early mornings, late nights, dirty clothes, bottles to wash, animals to feed, trailers to load and weekends that aren’t really “weekends” anymore… but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
And none of this happens with just the two of us.
A HUGE thank you goes to our families who are always willing to step in and help with our kids while we are working events every weekend. And of course, to my dad, who is always there helping us take care of the animals and doing whatever needs to be done even though he gets tired of me 😜
There are so many people behind the scenes who have helped make Bivin Family Farm what it is, and we will never take any of it — or any of YOU — for granted.
Every booking. Every share. Every comment. Every person who brings their kids to see us. Every person who recommends us to a friend. Every business that invites us out. It all matters, and we notice it.
Thank y’all from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to support this crazy little dream of ours. ❤️
