2nd annual bird feeding wreath done and hung on the garden shed. Boxwood, wild Amaranth and Artemisia on a grapevine base.

Last year’s wreath hosted a robins nest and 3 babies fledged this past spring. Perhaps they will return to build another.🤞🏼

I don’t know this pale pink beauty in the front. I think some order that I received must have been mislabeled. I’m happy to meet her, but who knows what variety she’s replaced at this point. I had such bad luck with receiving damaged tubers this spring that I’m just happy to see that some made it. She’s stunning, but so far she doesn’t have a very strong neck to her stem, so she nods a bit.

Anyway, well met, love! 🥰 She looks great with “Sandra” (aka Pink Sylvia) and Sun-kissed Bridget. Would you agree?

The battle against munching pests continues. I’ll spare you those grim details. 😜 Cheers!

This tree has gotta go. It shades too much of the production beds (which aren’t producing much this year) and I want more dahlias! They need full day sun, not the 5 hours they get right now. The goal is to have many more blooms!

I have reached out to a few local Tree Service companies - we’ll see what kind of estimates I get. If I hear back from them…
