At Decanter World Wine Awards 2026, Croatia claimed a Best in Show medal for a standout Plavac Mali from Hvar, personally highlighted by Co-Chair Andrew Jefford. A Malvazija Istarska also made the Top 35 Value Golds list at under £15 a bottle.
