Big Papas Fries strives to create a fun work environment where employees can learn by doing. We hope that all employees gain work experience that helps them work towards their career goals.
Responsibilities
Management Interns have a wide range of responsibilities that are essential for operating the food truck. These include staffing, scheduling, tracking and purchasing inventory, marketing, transporting the facility, communicating with event hosts, making necessary repairs, and more. Managers may also fill in for crew members and team leads when they are unable to fill a shift. We do our best to offer responsibilities that relate to employees’ career interests and areas of study where possible.
Compensation
$10 per hour + tips while working at events (tips vary between events but usually add $1 - $2 per hour)
Hours
Management interns are generally expected to work between 5 and 15 hours per week, depending on availability and need. Most weeks, managers will be scheduled to transport the trailer to between 1 and 3 events in addition to their other managerial duties, which are more flexible.
