Wednesday April 30th, will be my last day as the owner of George’s. This decision was made due to my health issues . A new owner will be opening the second week of June.
Myself and my family would like to thank all of our customers over the past 7.5 years. You have truly made my work easy and enjoyable. You’ve become some of my favorite people and I will miss you all. You’ve let me be a sports mom and never miss a game, graduation and college move ins, when I needed to be off due to health. Continued supporting us through Covid, and all the rule changes.
Shawn (the new owner) is great and local. He appreciates what George’s is. A hometown staple. Menu items will stay the same along with new items. Stay tuned for updates. He will be opening in the morning. And he makes amazing desserts, stop in this week for a sample.
Continue to support him as you have done so well for me. You are what keeps small businesses in small towns alive. You are the reason we have been around for almost 100 years, make sure he gets to celebrate that moment!
