An all vinyl DJ coming to the Hudson Valley via CA and Philly, Slim pulled a custom set to bring you a cassette for sunny afternoons, a cassette to listen to while you drink Cassette on the lawn in the sun or flipping your toes in the water. If you’re in the Cassis Club, you already got one.

Maybe you’ve found a friend with an older car that still has a tape deck, or you revitalized your dad’s old boom box, or borrowed your kid’s portable tape player. Either way this tape is a psych funk world jammer that will keep your mood on lift. All club members will get an email with a digital download so you can stream this sound art from anywhere.

There are a few extra tapes available on the site and physically in the shop while they last, and after today all purchases over $100 include a free digital download.

Ok honestly I hadn’t had just a classic simple C. Cassis spritz in a minute and I actually like laughed in joy after drinking it? It’s cool to love it this much after so long, and it’s cool to sort of discover it anew. Cans are grand but these bottles rip!!

New round of ceramic cups will be available first come first serve 😍 wine tastes better in them it is backed by science believe me we have run the tests!

There are snacks, pâté, bread, cheese, fermented carrots, tiny perfect snap peas right off the vine etc etc

On Saturday our monthly book swap is COOKBOOK themed 📚📖 and will be hosted with two people I turn to often for culinary inspiration and advice. Time to turn in books that um you no longer use and pick up new ones to enliven your kitchen habits! Books are free and you don’t need to bring books to take books.

Shaina is a writer, satirist, the chef and owner of and most recently their perfect rustic wine bar open Thurs and Fri 12-9! We will be serving some very Merkin snacks for this weekend’s service at CCTR.

Amiel made us a perfect spatchcocked smoked chicken on the grill for dinner 2 days ago and is constantly evolving my knowledge, technique, and ability to be a joyful pragmatist. He is a journalist and worker-owner .lives an independent subscription-based media endeavor that is honoring the fact that we all have beautiful creative brains and can handle long-form essay, complex recipes, and food that isn’t made to be consumed only by eyeballs on Instagram. Thanks god.
