Green Owl Farm We are a sustainable small-scale Hudson Valley farm, growing and selling specialty long-season crops – garlic, turmeric, ginger and saffron.

We also grow tricolored fingerling potatoes, luffa gourds, and bottle gourds we craft into birdhouses.

We're back at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market for opening day, next Sunday, May 3rd. Our 6th year! You'll find us in a new location, at the center of the market, just across from the music. Ginger is here! Come see us at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market tomorrow from 10-2. Also! New, fresh batch of garlic powder! Lots of greens--spinach, lettuce mix, arugula, pea shoots and broccoli microgreens. Shish*tos and fingerling potatoes. Lots of large cloved garlic. We're back at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market 8/24 and will be there every Sunday thereafter through the end of November. We are excited to return with our signature specialty crops as well as some new items. Returning: garlic, seed and culinary, ropes and wreaths; saffron; ginger (mid September); Turmeric (mid October); fingerling potatoes; birdhouses made from our homegrown kettle gourds; and luffa sponges. New: bagged spicy greens mix, bagged arugula, bagged spinach, shish*to peppers, dill, pea shoots and microgreens. This weekend we'll have spicy greens, arugula and shish*to peppers. We'll also be returning with our full range of products: garlic powder (early September), garlic scape flakes, ginger turmeric switchel, saffron extract, saffron bitters and saffron face oil. We've tweaked our saffron bitters with the addition of bitter orange peel, which really adds a lovely bitter! and floral note to the mix. We've also switched up our face oil recipe by eliminating the rosehip seed oil, which has a short shelf life and adding organic argan and sea buckthorn seed oils. The feel is a little lighter and the shelf-life is longer and it needs no refrigeration. Looking forward to connecting at the market.

Want to know exactly where your produce comes from, the ground from which it was harvested, and the people who grew it? Our CSA offers 20 weeks of fresh vegetables, grown right outside the village of Rhinebeck starting the last weekend in May. The cost breaks down to $35/ week and is a good fit for a two or three person household. We also offer a four week fall share. Pick up is once a week on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings. You can pay the whole 20 weeks in advance or 1/2 now and 1/2 later. We also offer payment plans for anyone who needs one. Only a handful of full shares left so come join us!
