Culpeper Rugby Families,
We are excited to open registration for fall rugby. Going forward, all players need to be registered for practices and competitions. IMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTRATION
This season your club dues will include a $10 credit to the club store to apply towards team merchandise.
Most of the registration information is requested by USA Rugby. Our club does not need your player’s school, race, or photo. Feel free to provide information as you see comfortable. We have noticed that “Nunya” is an acceptable option for many questions.
Your initial registration includes membership dues towards USA Rugby ($25) and Rugby VA ($16). These are one-time fees and memberships are valid through 8/31/2021. This means your player will be registered and able to compete in USA Rugby and Rugby VA competitions through 8/31/21. For future seasons, your player will only need to pay club dues for all registrations through 8/31/2021 – ex. spring rugby, summer rugby. We expect club dues for each season to remain below $50.
Dues towards USA Rugby help provide our club with insurance, training for coaches and players, and national development opportunities. Rugby VA dues help pay for scheduling and hosting regular season matches as well as post-season tournaments, referees, and training. Club dues help pay for coach certifications, PPE /health/sanitation equipment, game & training equipment, uniforms, and facility rentals.
Our club does not want money to prevent a player from participating in rugby. If your player needs a scholarship, financial assistance, dues plan or other accommodations please reply to this email and we will work with our club treasurer to help.
Our club can maintain low dues and provide financial support due to the donations, support and sponsorships we have received from the following local organizations, please make sure to thank and support them:
Kash Imprints, Paul Davis Restoration of Central Virginia, Pork Stork, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Culpeper County Parks & Recreation
