MID SHIFT UPDATE from the trenches 😮‍💨

Second shift has officially got your Eggroll Lady feeling it.

It’s cold. It’s gloomy. It’s depressy. The sky looks sad. I look sad. Everybody wants to be inside wrapped in a blanket and honestly… I support that decision 😭

But unfortunately for me, the eggrolls aren’t gonna sling themselves.

So here I stand. Waiting patiently for my second wind to find me.

If you DO decide to brave the gloom, come see your favorite tired Eggroll Lady. I even hustled to make more Brekky Rolls for tonight. Whatever survives dinner might make an appearance tomorrow… maybe…

Also, apparently tomorrow is Sunday.

Who knew.

We have THREE events tomorrow and a full night of prep waiting for me after this.

So we keep our eyes on the ball and keep going.

When it gets tough, we get tougher. 🫡

I used 180 EGGS to make this giant batch of filling.

Do you know how many eggs I saved to actually SEAL the eggrolls?

Why, God, do you give your mightiest soldiers your biggest challenges 😭

So off to Maverik I shall go.

Because the people need their BREKKY ROLLS and I have been chosen to suffer for them. 🫡

Today officially marks OVER 1,000 MILES on the road for your Eggroll Lady this week… and I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t tired. 🥹🤙

Out of the 12 events we’ve had so far, I’ve personally worked 11 of them on my own. That’ll wear this old gal down just a liiiiittle 😂

But we’re not done yet!

GLIDDEN BESTIES: I’ll be here slinging until 7:30 PM… or until the body officially calls it quits 😂😂 whichever comes first! Come keep your tired Eggroll Lady company before I make the trek home tonight!

Then it’s another long night of rolling and cleaning because both trailers head back out tomorrow for a triple event day!
