**SUNSHINE’S FARM UPDATE**
Hello to all of our followers and past customers. This is a sad post, it’s hard to do.
We will no longer be accepting visitors or hosting Birthday Parties at the farm.
This heat and this summer and generally 2026, has had devastating effects on the animals. We’ve lost Doo Doo Dog, Taters the Turkey and Dilly Dobber the Lamb in the recent months.
We are losing on average a chicken a day due to heat exhaustion. No number of fans, misters, water options or shade is cutting it. All rabbits have been moved inside the air conditioned shop, it’s a mess.
We will likely host planned events like Pickle Making Parties and crafting classes in the cooler months, so keep an eye out for that.
Sunshine’s Farm will be dissolved as we plan to retire in 4 years and move to Alabama.
If there is anyone interested in purchasing our farm in the Fall of 2030, please let us know.
The price will be around $695k or whatever is the appraisal value at the time.

I will have lived here for 20 years by the time we move, so this place is going to be hard to leave. I’m hoping a younger couple would like to have their own little farm haven and maybe even continue to have kids come enjoy their animals.
Some of the outdoor decor pieces and garden features will be coming with me, but for the most part the farm will come as is.
We plan on having the exterior of the house redone with cedar look cement planks and stone. The rest we will leave for the new buyer to make any changes they want.
I would love for this farm to go to someone we know, so we can visit from time to time.
