Miriam has three young roosters for sale! Born March 2026. They are a mixed breed - she raised these from egg from our flock. Ten per rooster.

What a fun night! Tonight was a first for Miriam and me! We learned how to sheer our sheep! This should help keep them cooler in the coming days! Thanks Tanya Riebe!!

The broiler chicks are turning into chickens only after one week. Believe me when I say we will be butchering these babies in 6 weeks!

The Blue Roost Ranch is back! We took a little social media nap (not much - just kicking cancers ass) and now the Hagen’s are back to share all the fun things happening at the Ranch!

This year Miriam is showing lambs at the Barron County Fair! We have one wether (male) and one ewe (female) that she will be showing. We have our first weigh in this Wednesday. The market lambs need to weigh less than 90 lbs to make sale.

We did a weigh in tonight on our bathroom scale (literally held a lamb while standing on our bathroom scale 😂) and we have one at 70 lbs and one at 69 lbs.

Miriam has been weighing their food and feeding them every 12 hours the grain. She has been teaching them to lead (or just dragging them). Sheep are not the smartest animal we’ve owned. 😂😂
