“Getting beat is never easy. I remember one time I was showing in showmanship and I got pulled into 6th place. Walking in, I thought I was going to win - so when I got pulled into 6th I immediately stopped showing and was frustrated. Fast forward a few minutes, the judge pulls me into 2nd and gets on the mic and says “If this young man wouldn’t have shown emotion and kept showing, he would have won”.

He put me in 6th to see how I would react and guess what… I failed! After that moment, I learned to never stop showing and never show frustration in the ring. That was a very humbling day for me and I took that moment and tried to better myself from it!”
