As we end Fire Prevention Week, we want to take the time to show appreciation and gratitude towards our local hometown heroes, especially the Riceville Fire Department!! We greatly appreciate their hard work and dedication for providing outstanding fire protection service in this little town of Riceville. It is relieving to know and see such a strong and great department just a few blocks away from our feed mill, and hopefully never have to call for their assistance!

Two of our employees are firefighters on the Alta Vista Fire Department, including James (owner and CEO), and Spenser (second shift pellet mill operator). Thank you for serving the Alta Vista fire district, which is in Northern Chickasaw County.

Thank you to all firefighters all across the United States for their dedication and long hours, especially the over 600,000 volunteer firefighters nationwide who step up to serve their communities - many times leaving their families or work duties when that call comes in.

James and Paige visited Fertrell in Bainbridge, PA today for their 80th Anniversary Open House! We use a lot of their livestock mineral and vitamin packs in our feeds as well as retail sales to our customers who look for organic animal feed supplements. It was an great tour and amazing BBQ lunch (I forgot to take a picture of the hog roast, but it was perfect!)

THANK YOU everyone for your amazing support with our 2nd Annual Riverside Feeds Golf Tournament that was held on Friday! We had 19 - four person teams, so the course was full. Everyone had a lot of fun and the weather was perfect! This year's beneficiary is the Riceville Golf Course. We greatly appreciate everyone's participation, our amazing volunteers for helping us, Elma Locker & Grocery, Inc. for donating the lunch so we can give more towards the golf course, and certainly the Riceville Golf Course for allowing us to host this fun tournament! Thank you and stay tuned for next year's tournament!
