We grow vegetables without the use of any chemicals and sell locally. We are Neil and Gunnel Lindsey and Buddy, The Spotted Dog.

The Spotted Dog will not be going to any markets this season, but starting this week we will be selling tomatoes on the farm in Riceville. We will also deliver in Athens Friday afternoons. Price per lb is $2.50 on the farm and $3.00 delivered. PM us if you’re interested.

The Spotted Dog is done with markets for the season but we still have slicing tomatoes and cherry tomatoes for sale on the farm. We also deliver in Athens and Riceville on Fridays.

We will be at Ooltewah Farmers Market today Thursday 3-6pm. We have tomatoes and loofah for sale.

August 25

The Spotted Dog is still picking watermelons, but they are now fewer and smaller. Our harvest this year has been amazing!
We will be at the Ooltewah Farmers Market this Thursday 3-6pm with yet another load. We will also have okra, bell peppers, sweet peppermix, jalapenos and finished gourds.
We also do home deliveries on Friday in Athens/Riceville.

August 18

The Spotted Dog is getting ready for another market week dominated by watermelons. We have red Moon & Stars, Charleston Grey and Orangeglo left. Sugarbabies are all sold out and we may have 2-3 of the yellow Moon & Stars.
This week we will not take any pre-orders on melons. Many people got irritated and angry when they saw the melons in the truck and none of them were for sale, all were pre-ordered. So this week it is first come, first served.

This week we will only come to Ooltewah Farmers Market, Thursday 20 August 3-6pm.

We still do home deliveries in Athens/Riceville but it will be on Saturday this week.

We have:
Okra, bell peppers, small sweet peppers, jalapeños, watermelons and finished gourds. UPDATE: We will also have green beans!

Update for Ooltewah Farmers Market: Slicing tomatoes sold out😕

August 10

The Spotted Dog will be busy this week harvesting 5 kinds of watermelons! We hope to be able to bring quite a few to this week’s markets.
The tomatoes are really slowing down now, but we still have a few.

We’re coming to:
Thursday 13, Ooltewah Farmers Market 3-6pm
Friday 14, home delivery Athens/Riceville
(Maybe Ebenezer and/or Brainerd if we have a lot of melons. Check for updates!)

We bill bring:
Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, okra, squash, zucchini, bell peppers, jalapeños, sweet pepper mix, watermelons and finished gourds.

Pre-orders available the day before the market only. We’re taking orders 9am - 9pm

The Spotted Dog’s tomatoes keep coming in but at a slower pace now. We’re waiting for the melons to get ready and we might have a few towards the end of the market week.

Update: No peppermix at Brainerd Market. Sold out.

As The Spotted Dog is getting ready to move into August we still have lots of tomatoes coming in. Slicers (Big Beef) heirlooms (Brandywines) and buckets full of yellow, red and indigo/red cherry tomatoes! Come get them y’all! 😁
The little sweet peppers are coming in too. Took a while but they are worth waiting for.

Saturday August 1, Brainerd Market 10am - 12pm

The Spotted Dog is ready for another market week and working on strategies to cope with the heat🥵 Tomatoes are still going strong and we’ll have lots of them at this week’s markets.

We will bring:
Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, okra, zucchini, squash, red potatoes, fingerling potatoes and finished gourds. We’re doing our best to revive the green beans and peppers. Check for updates.

The Spotted Dog’s tomatoes are continuing to come in at a good speed and we’ll have plenty of them for sale at all our markets this week.
If you can’t come to any of our markets we encourage you to pay us a visit on our farm and get your produce. Call or message us to make an appointment.
