Raise your hand if you knew male emu’s, as goofy as they are, actually build the nest, sit and protect the eggs and raise their baby chicks after they hatch. 🐣🙋🏻‍♀️

Zachary, as seen here, has been working extra hard this year building Rachel the most adorable 6-twig nests. He’s more of a minimalist.

Currently we prefer to pull the eggs and incubate them in a more controlled and protected environment. Hopefully we’ll be introducing y’all to new nekid-neckaraptor, giraffedactyls in 50 DAYS!! 🙏🏼

The Baker Family has been such a blessing to our community in general, but especially to our Agape Family. You might recognize Aunts Ivy or Kyra from The Gathered Local or Momma Hope from volunteering at the farm, even Phynley’s “Honey,” Candace and “Papa Bake” were unexpected lights for us during a season of darkness. We are so privileged to have the opportunity to bless them in return, please read their story, share and if you are able, every prayer and penny helps. 🙏🏼🤲

✨ Our little warrior Phynley is facing a tough battle against sialoblastoma, and while her spirit continues to be sunshine to all of us, she’s got a big journey ahead. She’s full of laughter, love, and bravery, lighting up, and entertaining every room she enters. 😊🌈💖
