Over his lifetime, founder Mike Guajardo suffered from migraines, at times often debilitating. After 40 years of trying to figure out the cause, Mike discovered that they were caused by a food allergy to raw and dried onions (cooked onions were fine)! As an avid lover of salsas and pico de gallos, Mike refused to give up eating them and instead focused on creating a cooked salsa full of flavor that would not trigger the food allergies and the Five Pepper Sweet Salsa was born! Mike kept the salsa private for his own use, but over time, enough people loved the salsa and asked to buy it, fueling a demand that continues to grow. Today, Guajardo's Salsa is concentrating on growing the hand batch sales of the Five Pepper Sweet Salsa and the company.

Hey all! I told you 'all I've been focusing on something big, and this weekend, we've officially launched Sam's Alchemy Life Coaching business (Alchemy Life Coach / alchemylifecoach.com) at the Dallas Ultimate Woman's Expo at the Irving Convention Center. If you have time this afternoon, come on out to the expo, beat the heat and come say hi!

Now for a salsa update... We're getting back to normal and will be cooking approx 1200 jars this week! Keep posted here to find out what market we'll be at next!

Hey all! Quick update on the markets this weekend and a shift in our cooking schedule.

This weekend, I will be at the Dallas Farmers Market this Sat Aug 29th ONLY.
Sam will be at Saint Michael's Farmers Market this Saturday, and next Saturday Sep 5th, from 8am - 12 pm both dates.

NOW, Sam and I have been working on a high priority project for her business. As a result, I've had to skip this month's cooking session. What does this mean for you? It means our inventory is limited and we are already starting to sell out of some varieties. Be sure to come out, or order online and stock up as we won't be cooking again and restocking for another 3-4 weeks!

Hey all! Quick update! Stacie will be at Saint Michael's Farmers Market instead of Sam this Sat Aug 1st from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Sam had a conflict come up that she just can't get out of, so Dtacie has graciously stepped in to be there! Be sure to tell her thank you!

For the Dallas Farmers Market's Watermelon Fest! this Sat Aug 1st & Sun Aug 2nd, I will be in spot C108! This is right at the front of the market, 3 booths down. Row C is the row with all the tents! There will be every watermelon known to man there and all sorts of watermelon themed products, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family!

Hey all! Mike here. I tried to make a video yesterday while we were cooking with the market and travel updates, but the audio crapped out. Take a look at the end to see it!

So obviously, no markets this weekend! Sam and I decided we needed a break to get stuff at the house, label and relax. Also! We will be out of town this Tuesday 7/28-Thu 7/30 to celebrate Sam's Bday, so no deliveries or shipments during this time!
