Y'all watch out for snakes regardless if they are poison or not! I've always had the mentality that we would just relocate if we had one stealing eggs. NOT ANYMORE! They don't just go for eggs and small chicks. After Sunday night's storm, I came home to find one had killed and was trying to swallow one of my half grown guineas! Needless to say, the snake has now perished!

After losing several of my hens to a raccoon this past January, I decided to replenish my flock. I ended up catching chick fever! After finding several colors I didn't know existed, I now not only have Wheaten Ameraucanas but also Isabella Leghorns and Chocolate/chocolate silver laced Orpingtons.
