This morning, the relief hit instantly. For two long days, we searched the entire pasture, tree line, and patch of tall grass looking for a missing calf. This mama sure knew how to hide her calf well! So glad to see them reunited.

Bringing new life back to an old dairy barn. 🚜🪵

What was once showing its age is now becoming a centerpiece again — soon to be cleaned up, restored, and full of endless possibilities. From preserving a piece of farm history to creating a space for future projects, gatherings, storage, events, or whatever comes next, this barn still has plenty of life left in it.

There’s something special about saving old structures instead of letting them fade away. A lot of hard work, but worth every step to improve the look of the farm and keep its character alive.

Excited to see what the future holds for this old barn. Stay tuned for more progress photos!

I was never a fan of ducks or geese, but I’ve really grown to enjoy them. They have big personality and big emotions! The children are excited for them to hatch babies.
