She did it!!!

Fishy welcomed this beautiful red baby today all by herself! Her baby looks just like her the day she came home. Fishy was so so happy, she even gave her biggest smile! So without further ado, welcome to the pasture, Minnow!!

Breaking moos!

It’s officially baby watch! Fishstick is nearing the end of her first pregnancy. Fish has since been upgraded to the “birthing suite” with her own barn and food&water service. Stay tuned for updates!!

Meet the herd… dog!!

In honor of national rescue day, meet Mazie! Mazie is a 4 year old boarder collie/springer spaniel mix we rescued from Texas. Mazie enjoys her daily duties of checking cattle, herding goats, and tending to the chickens. Mazie also enjoys the many feed runs into town, breakfast before a long day’s work, sleeping, and being pampered. Without Mazie, Freedom Ridge Farms would be full of squirrels and confused cattle. Mazie loves her daily duties and does a wonderful job at it!

These guys here are the “boys.” These four Holstein feeder steers are currently looking for new pastures. These steers are super friendly and easy going. These guys are averaging around 765 pounds each. We have 3 black and white and 1 red and white available. Please pm or call for more information!

This is Fishstick, an almost 4 year old red angus. She is expecting her first calf in just a few weeks! Fishstick was the calf that started it all. She is a long term resident and will live her life out on the farm grazing the pastures and carrying calves.
