We harvested the last of the Roussanne this morning and all of our grapes are getting ready to come to you soon. Be on the lookout for our grapes in a bottle at Wedding Oak Winery!!!

Our harvest was bountiful and our blessings were abundant! We had the amazing experience of harvesting the Tempranillo with mom and dad by our side. The work ethic they instilled in Erik is beyond obvious! He definitely comes by it honestly! Our second harvest was shared today with some of our best friends that have been with us from the very first planting! A huge thank you to Elizabeth, Gary, Scott and Lauren! And let’s not forgot our little helpers Grant and Grayson! I also want to thank Kyle that came out and put in the work! He probably ended up picking more sticker burrs out of his legs than he picked grapes but we were sure grateful to have him out there! Love you buddy! And last but certainly not least, thank you Jesus for the beautiful crop and the answered prayers!

What an awesome day!!! Two years ago a storm brought baseball size hail and tornado like winds that tore through our community in Richland Springs. We had to cut our vines right above the graft and start over due to the mark that storm left. At this point we were just getting into our groove and starting to turn the page through so many learning moments of owning a vineyard. Fast forward...April and I woke up this morning and put on our boots to meet my mom and dad for a family harvest. This was very special for us as it was our first harvest since that storm. It also brought back so many memories of how I was raised out in the fields, working the land. My mom and dad spent their childhood picking cotton and doing their part to help provide for their families. Growing up and working the pecan orchids with my parents brought this moment full circle as my mom and dad were joining us to work our land. Strength in numbers and feeling so blessed to share this harvest with the most important people in my life!!! Love you honey for going on this journey with me!!! Quick shout out to for taking our grapes again!!! These grapes are Texas grown and the wine is Texas made from the !!! Excited to see what Seth Urbanek does with this wine!!! Adding a new member to the family this Saturday!!! Aglianico (pronounced [aʎˈʎaːniko], roughly "ah-YAH-nee-koe") is a black grape grown in the southern regions of Italy, mostly Basilicata and Campania. The vine originated in Greece and was brought to the south of Italy by Greek settlers. Welcome to Good Vibe Vineyards!!! Welcome to the Texas Hill Country AVA!!!
