Although Tagaris has been growing grapes since 1983 and producing wine since 1987, the 2005 vintage was the first from its new winery located on Tulip Lane in Richland, WA. Taverna is Greek for “tavern” and was a place where Greek men passed the time drinking wine and talking about daily life. Today it has come to describe an informal establishment that offers a place to talk, drink and share a me
