We are downsizing some of our semen inventory. We are offering straws if MYS Wolfpack 26/89. To us Wolfpack proved himself one of the better direct sons of the original import 26/89. He sired the #2 overall at the 2023 Mississippi Buck Test, SWC Hardway. Hardway had the highest ADG while maintaining 2nd place FEC. Wolfpack maintained excellent feet as well, which can be hard in Eastern North Carolina. We are asking $125 per straw and 5 or more $100 each. These are all stored at Bullnanza and transfer fees at buyers expense. PM if interested.

We are looking to downsize some of our semen inventory. We are offering straws of GHK Way Beyond the Blue. Way was a great buck for us and really helped to move our program forward. Way was an own son of Blues Son and the solid Iron Horse doe Widget (Widget lived to be 12 or 13.) He produced the #1 in REA and 11th overall at the 2022 West Virginia Buck Test. Ways kids seem to all hit the ground running. He also tends to throw a lot of color and spots which is just a bonus. These straws are all stored at Bullnanza and will be transferred at buyers expense. Straws are $125 each or 5 or more straws $100 each. Please pm if you’re interested.

PSA on Reproductive Work in Goats
1. Always follow your veterinarian or technician’s recommendations on products and timing. Protocol matters.
2. Clip the little ball off the end of the CIDR. We also paint the end with bright green nail polish, so we can easily see them in the does (don’t use pink).
3. Program a few extra does for AI or recipients. It never fails—someone will lose a CIDR or won’t be ready to take embryos.
4. Do not put does back in with the buck until directed by your vet or tech. We want them bred, but don’t undo all the hard work you just put in on the artificial insemination or embryos work.
5. There are no dumb questions. If you’re not 100% sure, ask. The person doing your repro work will be grateful you did.
6. Make sure you have enough help on repro day. Many farms work together, which is awesome—more hands make everything run smoother. If it’s just your farm, line up a couple of extra helpers.
