Really it's just , Lemon sugar.Water.Ice.

Congratulations... you've got yourself a lemonade stand. 😉

The recipe was never the secret.
The secret is standing in 100° heat for 12 hours with a smile on your face. 😅

The secret is washing, cutting, and juicing hundreds (sometimes thousands) of lemons.

The secret is spending two summers figuring out what flavors people love, what events work, what doesn't, how much product to bring, how to brand yourself, how to talk to customers, and how to keep showing up even on the hard days.

There was a time when I would get discouraged if I saw another lemonade stand or someone took inspiration from something I'd done.

Finally I realized, this should make me proud. I'm not the first person with a lemonade stand, they've been around since before I was born, and I won't be the last.
If someone else watches my work and thinks, "I want to do that," then I've already made a difference, because honestly the last few new stands I've seen pop up in our area, have been customers of mine, most of them have been coming to my stand since I opened.

Truth be told, I hope more people start businesses.

I hope they sell lemonade.
I hope they bake cookies.
I hope they sell candy.
I hope they make bracelets.
I hope they mow lawns.
I hope they raise chickens and sell eggs.

Whatever it is... I hope they work for it.
& I hope they love every minute of it.

And here's the funny part...
My 32oz hand crafted lemonade costs about the same or less than your fancy coffees from whichever store.

Except this one comes with a story.
It comes with a family who washes lemons, stocks inventory, greets every customer with a smile, and has spent two summers learning what it means to own a business.

That's worth supporting.

Not because Im the only doing it...
But because every dream starts somewhere & ours started by borrowing tables and tents and taking a chance when we didn't know what we were doing,.

So if you see a lemonade stand, stop.

Because you're not just buying lemonade.
You're investing in the everyday families in your community. 🩵

The event starts at noon and runs until the Top Gun movie is over, it starts at dusk! 🎥

Noah Spencer will be putting on a free concert beginning at 2. 🎶

Lots of stuff to do for people of all ages. ❤️

I know y'all are always telling us "bring more with you" but y'all our cars will only hold so much. 😂

Hopefully that won't be a problem much longer. 😉

I also saw that our friends over at Lester's Mountain Meats will be set up too that day & if you haven't eaten with them, let me tell you, you are missing out! 🍖

We're back from our small trip celebrating our boys birthday And we're ready to go back to shaking lemonades. With 2 events this week!

Wednesday- We're headed to Grundy! We will be at the Meet the Eagles event at the new Southern Gap High School.

Saturday- We will be at the Tazewell County Airport all day.

Come out and see us. 💛
