The big Fall project… Dan’s been working non stop in the blistering heat to get the garden beds replaced and spruced up for our Storybook Farm School students to plant our fall garden!

We planted a few of the new beds already with carrots, Swiss chard, peas, lettuces, but will finish planting more next week!

Also- how cute are mama hen and her little chick just roaming around the pasture? They’ve been inseparable for a month now…

Laying will slow down as the days get shorter, but we take this time to hatch a new flock- we have about 70 eggs in the incubators right now

Farmer Dan doing his thrice a week layer hotel move. Fresh grass, refreshed waters on these hot days, shady woods time and some fun watching those silly ducks! Eggs are still in high production, so come grab some at the farm stand!

Farm Stand Summer Hours ☀️🌿

Our farm stand is fully stocked with all of our beautiful pasture-raised meats, local honey, fresh chicken eggs, and duck eggs gathered daily.

✨ We’re also hoping to have fresh pasta by Tony’s Macaroni stocked soon!

A little note: the air conditioning stays on inside to help keep our freezers running efficiently, so please feel free to step in and browse. We’d just appreciate you closing the door behind you when you leave. 🤍

Lately I’ve been wanting to share a little more of life here at Storybook Farm.

It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come.

We’re always learning and gathering stories along the way.

Stories from the home, the garden, the kitchen, the pasture, and around the table.

Stories from ordinary days, lived through many different seasons, that have slowly taught us what this farm means to us and what kind of life we want to build here.

Storybook Farm has become a place where the small, ordinary moments become the stories that shape us.

And those stories keep teaching us the same few things:

To steward what we’ve been given.
To nourish body, mind, and soul.
To learn the rhythms of work and rest.
To pay attention to what actually matters.
To build a more grounded home.

That’s what I hope to share a little more of these days.

Welcome to the Farm Stand at Storybook Farm! 🥩🐓🐖🪺🍯

Our 100% grass-fed & grass-finished Heritage Beef is in stock and ready for your table. Raised with care and integrity, these cuts are rich in flavor, nutrient-dense, and perfect for slow dinners or special gatherings.

In today’s video, you’ll see a variety of available cuts featured one by one, from everyday favorites to beautiful specialty pieces.

You’ll also find staples like farm-fresh eggs, local honey, organically raised whole chickens, and raw grass fed milk (when available).
