We are looking for a full time equipment mechanic. Responsibility's would include working in our shop and in the field when required. We have 2 good junior mechanics that you would be in charge of managing. The work would include all farm equipment most tractors and combines will be under warranty but all other equipment would be worked on and serviced in our shop. The right person would need to be comfortable managing other people and keeping a shop organized and flowing. The position can be an hourly or salaried. Hours in offseason would be 7am to 5pm Monday thru Friday during season hours would be Monday thru Saturday 7am to 6pm in shop and able to take calls until 9pm.

Wright Farms is looking for general labors, equipment operators(ag&construction), truck drivers and mechanics. must have a valid drivers license, cdl preferred for driving position but not required. 1-3 years experience preferred on operators and mechanics. pay is based off experience. Applicants need to have a good work ethic and be a team player. long hours are required during planting and harvest seasons and it is not uncommon to work long hours outside of that. Class A CDL preferred but not required. Pay is based on experience. We are and agricultural company. You would be hauling ag products using hopper bottom, belt trailer, tanker and flatbeds. Although driving would be primary responsibility when not driving you would be assisting with maintenance or other tasks as needed on farm. We have two locations, Richmond and Independence. This is a full time position that would require long hours and weekend work at times.

Wright Farms is looking for a full time Ag service technician-Shop manager at our Independence Mo location. This position is responsible for managing the farm maintenance shop. Tasks include but are not limited to oversight of maintenance records, inventory control, supervision of shop personnel, training of technicians and conducting major repairs on a variety of farm equipment.

Essential functions:

Prioritize and assign maintenance and service tasks on a daily basis, and maintain detailed record of such

Develop and execute a preventative maintenance program that encompasses all farm equipment

Develop and execute quality control standards that will ensure all equipment serviced by the shop meets a prescribed standard prior to release and use in the field

Maintain proper levels of inventory to meet the day to day requirements of shop operations

Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient and effective management of the resources ( equipment and personnel) required for farm shop operations

Maintain an efficient shop layout as well as daily and long-term cleanliness of the shop and surrounding area

Must have an extensive knowledge of diagnostics on a wide variety of farm machinery

Ability to work independently and be able to make critical decisions under pressure.

Ability to conduct repairs on a variety of equipment.

This position can be hourly or salary. Pay is based on experience but will be very competitive. Benefits include paid vacation,health insurance and 401k.
