Rising Tides Plumbing was called to help this homeowner in Elk River MN that was experiencing low water volume throughout the home. I dianosed the old softener was plugged with manganese and iron restricting water flow through the softener to supply the home. I performed a field water test and found high levels of iron, manganese, and sulfur from the well. I provided upfront pricing and recommendations. The homeowner ultimately decided to install a whole house iron/sulfur filter as well as a new water softener to protect the rest of the home and fixtures.

Hey friends and neighbors, I wanted to formally introduce myself and the story behind the "why" of starting my plumbing business. Thank you to everyone who has trusted and supported me!

My name is Josh. I started Rising Tides Plumbing Solutions after spending 12 years in the plumbing industry. While I enjoy helping homeowners solve problems, I knew I wanted to build something that reflects my own values and allows me freedom to spend more time with my family.

Over the years, Ive seen too many homeowners experience poor communication, rushed work, and a lack of integrity. I believe everyone deserves better. When I started Rising Tides Plumbing Solutions, I made a commitment to run my business with honesty, integrity, kindness, and empathy. My goal has never been to simply fix plumbing problems, it's to provide an experience that makes you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in the work being done in your home.

The name Rising Tides Plumbing Solutions comes from the saying, "A rising tide raises all ships." That idea resonates with me because, i believe that when we take care of our neighbors, educate homeowners, and genuinely help people, our entire community becomes stronger. That's why I take the time to explain plumbing issues, answer questions, and help customers make informed decisions instead of pressuring into repairs they don't want.

I believe quality is found in the details, and I don't consider a job complete until I've taken the time to ensure everything is done right.

I chose our navy and gold colors because I wanted my business to feel professional, trustworthy, and welcoming. More than anything, I want people to trust our name and know that we'll always do what's right.

Looking ahead, one of my biggest goals is to give back even more. I hope to help homeowners who may not otherwise be able to afford needed plumbing repairs and replacements. To me, success isn't measured by how many jobs I complete, it's measured by the trust I earn, the relationships I build, and the positive impact I can have on the communities I serve.

Rising Tides Plumbing helped this homeowner cut and remove a leaking section of drain underground. I installed a new pvc drain repair, floor drain, and laundry drain rough in. I tested all connections to verify no leaks, before setting up inspection with the city.

Rising Tides Plumbing was called to this home in Cold Spring for no hot water. I arrived Saturday afternoon and diagnosed a tank leak. I presented upfront pricing for replacement. I installed a new water heater and got hot water restored for the homeowner the same Saturday afternoon. They now have warranty and leak free peace of mind.

Rising Tides Plumbing was called to this home in Rockville MN as a second opinion for hard water and rotten eggs smell from the water. We diagnosed sulfur smell in the hot water due to break down of the anode rod in this 1 year old water heater. We also tested the city water supply to the home and found hard water minerals and common chloramine levels. We gave upfront pricing for the required work. The homeowner decided to move forward with our recommended installation of a city softener that uses catalytic carbon before the softener resin, which allows the home to have soft water that is also free of chlorine and chloramine. We also drained and flushed the water heater, sanitized the system to remove rotten egg smell, and installed a new powered anode rod with warranty. We tested the water after completing and verified no leaks and a whole house with clean ready to use fresh water.

Rising Tides Plumbing was called for a sewage ejector pump replacement in Richmond MN. The old pump had an object stuck in the impeller causing it to burn out, leading to a small backup in the basement. I was able to get the homeowner scheduled right away and get a new Liberty Pump sewage ejector installed with a new check valve. After installing I tested multiple times and verified the lift station is functioning properly, and the homeowner now has worry free peace of mind.

Rising Tides Plumbing was called to help this homeowner with a main waterline leak in Waite Park MN. We arrived on site within the hour and located the leak inside the wall just a few feet after the meter and shutoff. We shut water off right away and made the waterline repair to prevent any further damage to the finished basement of the home. After making the repair we slowly turned water back on and verified no additional leaks throughout the home.

This homeowner called Rising Tides Plumbing for help with a leaking water heater on friday afternoon. The existing water heater venting was not code compliant, or safe. This homeowner was well educated and already aware of this, so they purchased a new electric water heater for me to install. I installed the customer supplied electric water heater and brought it up to code compliance for worry free use.
