Doing nothing is hard when you’re used to being busy from dawn until after dark. I am doing my best to relax. It seems to be much easier on the beach with a book, lots of sunshine, and sand. 😬

Hope everyone is enjoying their week.
I’ll be back at the farm life soon enough, but for today- signing out for some more R&R (and probably a sunburn despite the bottles of sunblock I’ve been applying 🥴).

That’s right- we snuck away for a few days this week so if I’m delayed in responding, I’m not ignoring you- I’m trying to reset. 😬🙃

I’m posting available birds at latest Friday.
Maybe today but Pictures will be horrendous, you’ll get the idea.
Lots of pullets, misfit chicks (because Eleanor got me for 15 babies the day before I jetted off 😬😝🥴) plus more coming when I get back because the babies are growing up fast!

Seven mixed breed 3 week old babies ready to fly today if possible!
Trying to make room for the next round of mama raised babies and these seven need to go.

Mama is not available but has done a fabulous job of raising these little mutts.

They do come from my Misfit flock so will have a bantam dad and most likely will not be close to full sized as even most moms are bantams. 😉

$35 for all seven!

They do still need heat at night as mom sits on them at night and they are not fully feathered. Unsexed, I can’t tell gender yet.

Want a 1000lb pocket pet? I have you covered. 😝With a heavy heart, Merlin is looking for a new pasture. 💔 I’m not in the market of dealing in equines but I’m no dummy to them either. The is guy just isn’t fitting in with our mare and really would like a job to keep his mind busy.

Merlin is a 15 year old, Arabian gelding. He is sound, up to date on farrier and vaccines, has excellent stall manners, and was previously shown in hand but has never been broken to ride.

I could go on for days at how sweet this boy is, but I digress. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting him at our farm and think you may have a place for him or know someone that would give him the life he deserves, Please feel free to reach out via PM.

Someone is not happy that none of its roommates speak its language. 🥴🙃

Baby Buff duck hatched but due to broody mama ducks poor timing- it’s the only hatch so far, and its bantam Cochin roommates are terrified of it. 😬

So it peeps and peeps for friends. Poor thing. Guess it will have to travel with me today so I can keep it company. 😉

The Six babies aren’t babies anymore. They grow fast! The adults are indifferent to them in their coop, can’t say they are BFS just yet though. 🙃 I need to figure out boys vs girls for the babies but can’t bring myself to know how many boys I have just yet. 😬🥴🫣
