Had fun making this tart for some homies last week.

Chocolate crust / Nutella / banana / vanilla pastry cream / burnt meringue / coconut crumble / sage flowers

No meals this week - on vacation exploring NYC - but we'll be back at it next week with a new spring/summer menu!

Tweaked the kale-pistachio pesto pasta to get it ready for springtime. Now topped with peas, asparagus, and crushed toasted pistachio. All it’s missing is a heavy dusting of your favorite Richmond pollen.

Some spring flavors popping up on the menu. We've got a fresh cilantro chimichurri pork tenderloin with miso white beans and seared asparagus this week. Substitute chimichurri sweet potato to make the dish vegan. Get those orders in tonight!

Salad season is approaching...

We've always got a "farmer's market salad" on the menu and last week's salad had kale from Leedstown Farm, sweet raspberries, toasted almond, and pickled chard stems - with a strawberry vinaigrette.

As produce starts popping up again in Virginia I am looking forward to showcasing more fresh local veggies in these salads.

Curried chicken salad is back on the menu this week - and now you can order it as a full meal! Comes with housemade sourdough thyme crackers and a tangy pickled vegetable salad.

Sub in a curried chickpea salad to make the dish vegan.

New favorite: Green curry with brown rice and acorn squash mash. Served here with added curried tofu cubes. Love the flavor and the color of this curry!

Thanks everyone for making Bakery Week a HUGE success! Record amount of orders kept me on my toes! We will be returning to our regularly scheduled (but still exciting!) programming this week. Maybe bakery week will make a return in the future some day...

Doing something a little different this week...

Due to some Valentine's holiday schedule changes, we're not able to cook our regular meals this week. So we're going to try something I've been wanting to do for a while: special order bakery pop-up! (Don't worry, your regularly scheduled healthy meals will be back next week)

For this week only we will be offering sourdough bread, mini & full-sized tarts, and a couple other treats. Cutoff for these orders will be FRIDAY NIGHT this week, and deliveries will go out SUNDAY MORNING.
