Phew 😮‍💨 its been a hot minute since we’ve been able to find the time or energy to post, and we apologize sort of…

BUT A few life updates:

First off, we didn’t do dry January! Congrats to all those who did; you have a few days to finish strong and we are rooting for you!

Second, we soft-opened last weekend for some close friends and family and it was a beautiful experience to see our vision start to take shape. We are ready to bring a very comfortable wine and food vibe to Jackson Ward, Richmond City, and Virginia. We took the last week (and pretty much all of January) to flush out the details before opening our doors to the public next Wednesday, February 1st! RichWine will continue to be our online delivery service and the backbone of Penny’s, our brick-and-mortar food and wine shop. The two will coexist in a way that continues to allow RichWine to be the brand delivery and private event service. Penny’s will be our home where we can share our wine experiences, have great conversations, and have a comfortable setting around food and wine.

We thrived on same-day delivery during the pandemic, as it was the ultimate way to get people their wine! RichWine is still going to host wine delivery but on a more thoughtful basis. As always, 24/7 online shopping and wine ordering but our same-day wine delivery schedule will change to the following:

New Schedule:
🗓 Delivery days are now only Mondays & Thursdays
⏰ 4PM cut-off for same-day delivery on Mondays & Thursdays
📦 Shipping will stay the same, with an expected shipping turnaround of 1-4 business in Virginia.

Our new schedule will allow us to still get wine to your doorsteps at the beginning of the week to get you started and right before the weekend so you can load up! To level set, as soon as Penny’s is smooth sailing, shortly after we will re-open our pick-up option on the days and hours that coincide with the shop. These changes will allow us to operate more efficiently as a business as we prepare to offer you wine (and food) in person!

We're slinging wine all the way up till Christmas Eve day!

The cutoff is 10 AM Saturday (12.24) for all your last-minute wine needs.

The following week, we will take a little break, spend quality time with loved ones, and reopen delivery Thursday & Friday (12.29 & 12.30 ) to ensure you have enough vino to welcome in 2023!

We will be closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and will resume the regular schedule Tuesday (1.3.23)

A fresh restock and a few new wines to send off 22' are going up, and as always, we are available 24/7 online!

(405 Brook Rd) We're doing our version of a little holiday market in our new wine home, 🥂 We will have glasses of bubbly for sale and an assortment of burritos from our friends over at 🌯 Our friends Claire from and Toria from will also showcase and sell some of their wonderful handcrafted goods. Claire's ceramics and Toria's homemade candles and sensory all-purpose home products make for perfect gifts! In addition to our gift items, we will also have a small selection of wine for sale!

We heard someone yelling this in the queue at the grocery store on Broad 🗣- and we just wanted to reiterate the message! 😏

We're slinging last-minute wine today (Tues, 11/22) and tomorrow ( Wed, 11/23) - 4 PM cutoff! We will reopen for delivery next Tuesday (11/29). Don't fret cause we are open 24/7 online. If you are anything like us - we will be available, partially, while slumped on the couch with a plate and a bottle of wine. 😌Perfect opportunity to get your online shopping in!
