Hey Y'all
Our oven is currently not operational as we wait for a part to repair it, unfortunately this means we haven't sent out bread this week. We are unsure currently when that part will be in.

Hey y’all we are looking for a new driver for our Williamsburg delivery position, most days are spent by yourself so it’s a great job for an independent person.
You will be responsible for delivering fresh bread to Williamsburg and around Richmond Tuesday-Saturday.
Shift starts between 7:30-8:30am depending on how much bread there is to slice and package. Upon completion of deliveries you will be responsible for calculating order totals and making starters for the upcoming bake shift.
Shift ends between 2-3pm whenever the work is finished up.
No experience needed, we are willing to train the right person.
We are lookingfor someone to fill the position asap. Training would start this week.

Hey Y'all
Some of you may have noticed you have not been able to find our bread in stores over the past couple of weeks, which we are truly sorry about!

But we have been having ongoing repair on our mixer causing us to have been shut down for the past two weeks.

After tracking down the right part needed for a 30 year old mixer in Germany, it is finally on the way!

We plan to re-open for our normal schedule starting next week, so be sure to check your favorite locations for a fresh loaf of Billy Bread on Tuesday May 24th!

Our assistant baker is graduating to head baker, which means we're looking for someone new to fill his position! The work week is Tuesday through Saturday mornings, 1:45AM - 8:30AM on long days, and out earlier on light days. Total hours are about 30 every week. The job includes rounding and shaping dough into final loaves, loading the proofed loaves into the oven, taking them out to cool when baked, and bagging the bread for the delivery drivers/basic cleanup at the end of shift. Baking experience is a big plus but not strictly necessary. Because our space is so small, though, we have a lot of verticality, so the job is easier if you've got some reach, and you'll need to be able to lift 50 lbs. The most important attributes for this position are reliability and time management - all of the specific skills like shaping loaves can be taught.

We'd love to phone interview applicants and then have them in for a payed working interview during a regular shift. Looking to start training someone up starting 7/20. Please apply with your resume and any references.

Well, y'all - I didn't get these posted up soon enough and within just a few hours of the bake sale opening it's already sold through! We'll be baking extra bread on Saturday morning to be dropped off at Brenner Pass for folks who donated to grab along with all of the other items provided by a host of Richmond Bakers. Thanks to for organizing this in RVA!
