About OrderUp Seafood

There’s something about spending time on the water that changes a person. It’s the unknown and the adventure of what is to come. Listening to the waves crash and the animals communicating with one another, the ebb and flow of it all is inspiring.

Since the owner, Rodney Wright, was a young boy he spent time on many watersheds- from the Chesapeake Bay to the Atlantic Ocean, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean and beyond- the biggest take away from his experience is that life on the water is precious and it is our responsibility to respect what goes in and out of the changing tides. Understanding that without the wildlife of the waters to maintain balance, the oceans would not be a place to call home as it would be unlivable.

Over the years with this key concept in mind, Rodney knew he wanted to be a part of a positive and sustainable change with our watershed and to practice positive fishing habits to teach those who have not had the water experiences that he has had and to inspire those who have lost their way on the ocean. OrderUp Seafood is dedicated to preserving resources and participates in the continual healthy growth of the seafood industry.

OrderUp Seafood demonstrates the best seafood practices by purchasing directly from consistent, reliable harvesting and processing suppliers. This ensures top quality products at competitive pricing. Only fresh shrimp, crabmeat, and fish are used from the Carolinas and Gulf States.

If you have the appropriate space, you can be a pick up and distribution location. We can provide the approved OrderUp Seafood refrigerator and you provide the space and traffic. You can keep a small inventory on hand as our main focus is to have pre-orders for pick up on a weekly basis. Call to discuss requirements and possibilities of becoming a partner in a rewarding seafood venture.
